intimidating everyone is a lot of work, but having them on the list can be useful to disperse wherever they plan on doing next, or purge attempts to organize in a more decentralized way.
it can even be used to manipulate or target certain cohorts with propaganda and stuff in a way not possible before, or nab them off the streets. surveillance brings control.
id ditch the account if thats what you want
even if they are not joking, its not necessarily their fault they think like this
wtf does this have to do with facebook, and why are us party politics from months ago relevant for this post?
I was talking more about the panopticon surveillance phenomena, not the people individually trying to hide something which I’d guess its probably still possible.
But the surveillance state is here to stay and we won’t get rid of it easily is what i’m saying.
capitalism itself does that pretty well

I mean, advocating for a twm and terminal for normies is a bold move, but sure.

Vlad wants to end the war. On his terms though, cause he knows he can get it.
“call”? arent they lawmakers? go ahead and DO.
i checked the brazilian dell website and they offer ubuntu as a choice. i’m not sure if they are doing it by their own choice or by force of law though.
bolsonaro gutting this law wouldnt surprise me, but i don’t see it as relevant enough (at least right now) for them to even bother glossing over this tbh.
nowadays the install process on ubuntu consists of opening the driver app, selecting the nvidia driver, waiting around 3 minutes and rebooting when prompted.
sometimes things do break, but the install process itself is rarely the issue anymore, thankfully.
hey, i’m on that list!
