Yeah, bought the st300 after having repeated issues with ventoy not properly mounting disk images causing multiple Linux distro installs to fail. My st300 might be one of my best investments as a technician just for how seamless and simple it is to use.

I can only imagine “tights” was supposed to be “thoughts”? Still, clearly exhibits a deep misunderstanding of what she’s talking about
So, no then. Cool, thanks.
Cops are cops, whether they be foreign or domestic. Why split hairs?
I keep seeing people making this argument in this thread but it’s never backed up by anything, just insults and repeating propaganda. Can you imperialists at least engage with the historical discussions in this thread that you’re pretending not to see?
Trading brown people overseas’ lives for your own comfort and livelihood is still- believe it or not- wrong.
And like your example perfectly shows, that line of argument is only ever meaningfully deployed to specifically benefit the state and oligarchs. It’s never used to encourage awareness of economic inequalities that push people toward cycles of incarceration.
Hey man, I just fill deliver fuel for the orphan-crushing machine company. Don’t hold me responsible for the monsters who actually crush the orphans!
Do you have… any supporting evidence? Or is this just based off the warm fuzzy feeling you got from doing the pledge of allegiance in school?
pogmommy@lemmy.mlto DeGoogle Yourself@lemmy.ml•At least repost the latest versionEnglish3·1 month agoSeconded. Its a great experience, my only complains is that photo synchronization with my phone isn’t stellar. Best solution I’ve found thus far is a proprietary app called FolderSync
As I understand, an adtech company bought a majority stake in StartPage in 2019, and though they apparently can’t use that stake to force privacy-threatening changes, I personally find that acquisition disconcerting. Probably not enough to say it’s unsafe to use, but enough that I prefer some of the other options out there.
Yeah spotify is fucking vile. I hear my peers praise it for its alleged ability to perfect tailor playlists and recommendations for music discovery- because I guess we can’t be bothered to figure out what music we like anymore. And them of course, it behinds spoonfeeding its users their own ai-generated slop that they don’t have to pay licensing fees for.

The truth to the posts made are the critiques of the Democratic party, not their praise of the republican party. If their posts consisted only of the former, there would be nothing to argue with. But their statements included the unhinged notion that Republicans are somehow antitrust and will fight monopolies.
I would say it is wrong to praise an opponent for doing something right when the only basis for it is that one of their opponents is also fucking up. The fact that democrats are controlled by money has no bearing on whether or not Republicans are.
