2 days agoOk, then I understand. In my household we sometimes need 4 eggs for scrambled eggs or pancakes a week. And I never do the floating test, I just pay attention to how the egg smells.

How long did you keep the eggs for? I’ve never had one go bad in my entire life. Where I live, eggs can be bought in boxes of 6, 8 or 10.
Funnily enough, there is no single word for this in German of all languages. You just say “heat something up in the microwave”. The standard verb form would be “mikrowellieren”, but I’ve never heard anyone say that.
