MMU and HD space were the biggest issues. One of those has pretty much gone away with time.
5·11 days agoSpam and other attacks did happen. And it doesn’t really handle being mobile or disconnected without some sort of proxy. Among other things.
It’s still there, but withered and infested. Kind of like Usenet and real email.
I would just play Caravan if it didn’t involve walking across the Mojave each time. Actually I’ll walk just to play more Caravan.
4·24 days agoBrave is a series scam company. There are only two reasons anyone would support them: They were scammed, or they joined in the scam.
How’s the ad blocking or add-ons? Last I looked there was none.
Nothing has beat mutt so far. But that’s not for everyone, naturally.
Writing is a really good tool for slowing down. Handwriting even more so.

Microsoft wants GPG/PGP dead and if it isn’t in outlook, corporate won’t use it and if corporate don’t use it, there’s no business incentive for services either.
Has been for a few decades, but now more than ever.

But have you seen platformio? Not pretty, maybe, but gets you a tool chain for many platforms pretty easily.
Dictator’s don’t need to care. Especially if they own the system that runs the process.

1·5 months agoMy thoughts would be that she’ll not make it through the night in any case. Having another cause of death waiting in the future doesn’t mean the earlier ones aren’t as effective as without. That’s not how death works.
(And, actually, if she did somehow survive, the son caused her a guaranteed death date later.)
But of course it’s magic, so all bets are off unless you know exactly what the rules are and how to lawyer it.
