Right, thanks for correcting. But I also think that in addition to the government, the current state of the country is influenced by people, their worldview, religion, and culture.

Vopyr@lemmy.worldto Linux@lemmy.ml•What's a good, beginner-friendly distro that allows for easy switching between GNOME and KDE?2·5 days agoI’ve also heard that not many people like Ubuntu because of snaps, why is that?
Well, people don’t like snaps for a number of reasons, because they are forced on users, bloated and slow, Canonicals themselves are quite shady, systemd, etc.
I would rather use several different types of packages than trust one that is tied to a shady company.
Vopyr@lemmy.worldto Linux@lemmy.ml•What's a good, beginner-friendly distro that allows for easy switching between GNOME and KDE?7·5 days agoI don’t know what you mean by “A distro that allows you to easily switch between KDE and GNOME”, because any distro that has both should be able to easily switch between KDE and GNOME. As for user-friendly, something like Ubuntu or Mint, maybe Manjaro and Pop, EndeavourOS if you don’t mind learning and don’t mind using a terminal.
I know, I’m just saying.
This is not a big problem, there are plenty of forums, and EndeavourOS itself has a great community.
Archinstall: Exists Someone: ArCh iS WhEN yOu iNStaLl It yOUrsELf.
In other words, this statement is bullshit.
Whatever. Why should anyone even go to their forum and ask their opinion on EndeavourOS (or other Arch-based distros) when their community is known for its toxicity?
I’ve been hopping between different distros since 2023, but every time I come back to EndeavourOS, this distro seems to work the best for me, haven’t had any problems with this distro.

It’s sad, but Google has a strong grip here.

Wait, what?

Maybe I’ll switch to XFCE/MATE, but not if there are a lot of things not translated, or if the translation is worse than even Google Translate.
Yup, I guess it’s happening again… I tried to watch different videos, but I kept getting the http error. As usual, YouTube does shitty and inhumane things.
Reddits idiotic and lazy moderation*
Is there any news? Nicole community was closed, people (as far as I understand) went to the police after gore pictures, and now it looks like the community has been completely deleted.
