I guess you have to create the bridge yourself, it’s probably not even that safe to let someone else manage the bridge

Long live piefed
Discord is ok, it hosts many open source projects and can be bridged to matrix https://gitdab.com/cadence/out-of-your-element

Strange project indeed. I had a small discussion recently https://gitlab.com/eu-os/eu-os.gitlab.io/-/issues/13#note_2414881293

Kubuntu, the best of the two worlds: all Ubuntu repos + KDE (sweet DE for kids)
24.10 for better Wayland support.
Appimages for software, then winegui could be enough for gaming
Timekpr-next for screen-time management
suoko@feddit.itto Open Source@lemmy.ml•The EU Open Source Solutions Catalogue is now live14·29 days agoGermany “develops” its own element fork with its BundesMessenger.
That’s a very differen approach compared to other countries where messaging is 100% mandated to the commercial world.
Probably a few use it but it costs nothing (except maybe the element server)
suoko@feddit.itto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•Assuming we live in a simulation, at which layer are we ?1·29 days agoI like the fractal idea. In the end it’s just a question of taste imo
That’s true most of the time. It’s like the parking lot for some low level managers and the likes. And nobody usually cares until they find issues in their payslips.
I’d add:
- Mageia (French)
- Zorin OS (Ireland)
- Ufficio Zero (Italy)
Last option but better for an easy migration: linuxfx.org
Snaps, flatpck and app images, everything works ok usually on Ubuntu (if you have plenty of drive to store them all)

6 displaced abroad (unhcr)
7 displaced internally.
So around 30 left officially
suoko@feddit.ittoEurope@lemmy.ml•Tusk: Right now, 500 million Europeans are begging 300 million Americans for protection from 140 million Russians who have been unable to overcome 50 million Ukrainians for three years0·2 months agoContaining Russia is probably some thing due to the fact that Russia does not allow a political choice since decades
suoko@feddit.ittoEurope@lemmy.ml•Tusk: Right now, 500 million Europeans are begging 300 million Americans for protection from 140 million Russians who have been unable to overcome 50 million Ukrainians for three years0·2 months agoWe could also say that war over there actually started in 2014. But as you also stated, a lot of people were surprised since there is not a neo-liberal side against a communist side anymore since there is no communism anymore in Russia (Do you agree with this? Apart from the single-party political structure which can be called with various names, the economy is maybe watched by the gov but still liberal).
suoko@feddit.ittoEurope@lemmy.ml•Tusk: Right now, 500 million Europeans are begging 300 million Americans for protection from 140 million Russians who have been unable to overcome 50 million Ukrainians for three years1·2 months agoWell, did you think you could have been told that Russia invaded Ukraine? With a straight face?
It’s more like a telegram chat imo. People should go back using forums instead. In the meantime an AI should filter all relevant messages posted on discord/matrix/telegram and put them in the appropriate forum thread (not in Reddit). That’s something FydeOS AI in their discord might start to do I guess.
