It’s okay if you’re fully in control and it’s built with redundancy.
Exactly.
Just like Trump isn’t the problem in America: it’s Americans.
Netanyahu and Trump are not the disease, they are symptoms.
how about they leave the fluoride in it for starters?
When enough people’s lives are fucked up by Musk’s teenage goons and there isn’t a social security office left to go right the wrongs in person, then there’ll be an insurrection. And I for one can’t wait for that to happen. It’s urgently needed at this point.
That’s the most accurate article on the subject I’ve read in years.
With shell scripts, I’m not sure.
With Python scripts, you want argcomplete.
“The way I view this is that China, Russia, Iran and North Korea are engaged in a new axis, Axis powers, and they are not on America’s side.”
If you wonder why he makes the distinction with the “new Axis”, it’s because America is now very close to the old one from 85 years ago.
Oh dear… One teeny tiny spark of integrity and poof goes one promising sycophant’s career…
Another argument in favor of not sharing any information with Big Data companies when you can help it: when they don’t abuse it themselves, they mishandle it.
I am doubly pissed off:
But… I would be pissed off if I used straight Firefox, and I don’t: I use LibreWolf, and I have no doubt they’ll strip this latest round of Mozilla nonsense from the LibreWolf browser.
I don’t know… I have a love/hate relationship with Mozilla: on the one hand, they’re pretty much the only thing that stands between the final overrun of the web by the Google monoculture and still having some kind of a choice what you use to hit the internet, and they make one of the only email clients worth its salt in Linux. On the other hand, every time they decide to do something, it’s always a screw-up, and it’s been like that for decades. Surely in their position, they should know what not to do to piss off everybody all the time, and yet… What a weird bunch.
Well possibly, but here’s the thing: if I don’t say anything, I don’t have to worry about having to explain myself later.
This is just a software project, I really really like my job and I have other hills to die on frankly. So I just don’t need the aggravation.
I can’t sadly. It would make it obvious which company I’m talking about, and if ever read this thread, they could retaliate against us.
I can’t really say because it would make it obvious which debugging tool I’m talking about and that would out me. And then the company could put 2 and 2 together and find out who my employer is and… you know, our orders might become slow or mishandled, that sort of things. My company’s entire business depends on that one supplier, so it wouldn’t be good.
It’s been known for years that the magats are Nazi sympathizers. And if you had any doubt, very senior figures have warned everybody very bluntly that Trump was a fascist.
So if any of your friends and family was a Trump sympathizer, you should have known long before the election that they were at least Nazi-adjacent.
Therefore the only difference between this reality and the one in which Trump is six feet under is that the American 4th Reich hasn’t happened yet in the latter (but most likely will, because Trump is only a symptom of something deeper and profoundly disturbing in the American society).
