Gazans overwhelmingly supported 10/7 until recently, with worsening conditions in the strip. However, Gazans think Hamas will win. Also, Hamas would probably win again if Abbas allowed legislative elections

Unrelated but it’s interesting to note that support for Hamas is overwhelming in the West Bank

October 7 was planned by the entire Joint Operations Room. Islamists, socialists, and nationalists all calculated that it was the best path forward for liberation. The alternative is groups like Fatah, who are actively detrimental to a free Palestine. You won’t find any leftist blaming colonized people living in an open-air prison for taking up arms. 100% of the time the blame needs to be directed toward the oppressors, israel and the US most of all
